It's that time of year again. Time for the Ubuntu Developer Summit. This time around it is for the impending new development cycle on Ubuntu 10.04 code named Lucid Lynx.

I have already made travel plans for UDS Lucid in Dallas, TX. I plan on blogging about my time at UDS Lucid and hope to provide some input to the community.

As for the Mythbuntu Development cycle, many thanks to everyone who has helped test the software and especially our extremely talented and dedicated artwork team for providing a much needed and great looking overhaul of the MythTV theme.

As for the upcoming 10.04 release, we have started the brainstorming sessions and blueprinting for the future of Mythbuntu.

One of the projects I plan on putting much of of available time towards for the 10.04 development cycle is Mythbuntu Backup and Restore. The plan is to provide a plugin for Mythbuntu Control Centre to allow an easy to configure and manage backup system for MythTV systems. More to come on that later...
